The 2013/2014 National tour took in events at Portreath, Porthtowan and Tolcarne Wedge and saw riders from the UK, Ireland, Australia and South Africa challenge for the title of British champion. The tour was closely fought but St Agnes based rider Damian Prisk took top honours with the consistent results that the bodyboard community have come to expect from him. A thrilled Prisk commented “It was a great tour and I’m stoked to take the national title, I’m grateful to The Bodyboard-Depot for the financial support to follow the tour, I’m looking forward to defending my title at the next event”. Next week will see the Auto Sleepers British National Bodyboard Championships held at Porthtowan. If you want to see the best British and some international riders compete for the coveted title of national champion the event will start at 9am on Saturday 6th September.
