Riding into Bournemouth: Bodyboard-Depot expands to Bournemouth, launching new retail site and distribution centre.

Opening this May, the latest Bodyboard-Depot retail outlet will be sited in Wareham just outside Poole & Bournemouth. The new retail premises also has capacity to accommodate a new distribution centre for the growing online business, servicing both UK and overseas customers. Bodyboard-Depot the UK’s leading homegrown Bodyboard Brand The Bodyboard-Depot was launched 5 years ago in Cornwall and has fast become the number one choice for UK bodyboarders who want unrivalled advice from ex professional bodyboarder and current British senior bodyboard champion Rob Barber and his team. The Bodyboard-Depot is a key player in the UK bodyboarding community, supporting and organising the British Bodyboarding events as well as sponsoring some of the best riders in the UK. It also offers free equipment demo days and coaching clinics for riders of all ages and abilities. Bodyboard-Depot unveiled their new website in October 2013, officially launched by eleven times world bodyboarding champion Mike Stewart. The Bodyboard-Depot has an unparalleled passion for the sport, which reaches all shores of the UK and beyond. Bournemouth businessman and local bodyboarder, Guy Sowry has come on board as director to spearhead the retail operation, both on and offline. Guy has been a leading sales director of a multi million pound company for the last 15 years and is now following his passion into the bodyboarding industry. It was a natural progression for Bodyboard-Depot to expand the brand here. Newquay Store Relocation to Adam’s Surf Shop The Newquay shop is re–locating down the road to Adam’s Surf Shop which will enable bodyboarders to access the unique range of Bodyboard-Depot products as well as receive great deals on wetsuits and accessories within the store. The shop will continue to be run by bodyboarders for bodyboarders with advice from Rob Barber and his team. The new Newquay premises will see an extension in opening hours and a professional retail experience to service its ever-growing UK client base. The new retail outlet and distribution centre will be welcomed by the bodyboarders of Bournemouth and the south coast.
