Reeflex wetsuits have landed at the Bodyboard Depot …find out what our riders think

We at the Bodyboard Depot are excited to be stocking Ryan Hardy’s premium range of Reeflex wetsuits.

Reeflex wetsuits are designed by bodyboarders for bodyboarders and are committed to reinvesting in our awesome sport. Since Ryan ‘Hardballs’ Hardy took the Reeflex reins in early 2015, the brand has gone from strength to strength and has quickly grown a reputation as the best bodyboarding wetsuits on the market, and systematically expanded across the globe. It’s no coincidence that the best riders on the World Tour, Iain Campbell, Jared Houston, Amaury Lavernhe, Jacob Romero and Davis Blackwell are all behind this stylish, functional and 100% bodyboarding brand.

Reeflex offer a wide range of both men’s and ladies steamers (5/3mm, 4/3mm, 3/2mm & short sleeve steamers) and spring suits (Long & short sleeve). The Verdict

Bodyboard Depot and Reeflex team riders Rob Barber and Matt Mave Davies have been putting a range of Reeflex products under the microscope as they travel the world coaching on Bodyboard Holiday’s trips. On the road and surfing 2-3 times a day in a variety of countries, water temperatures, conditions, and wave types means they need a wetsuit they can rely on; comfortable, warm, flexible, and resilient. Let’s see what they thought…

“In 30 of years bodyboarding I’ve been through my fair share of wetsuits, but this is the first suit I can genuinely say is faultless. It’s a credit to Hardballs’ dedication to the brand, like his riding, the suits are super stylish.” Rob Barber

“I’m someone who feels the cold and have even been known to wear a wetsuit in Bali. I’ve been extremely impressed with my ‘Hardy X Series’ X1 suit. Its welded seams and fur lining really make a difference and have kept me toasty throughout the winter. What’s more, working on bodyboard holidays means your suit is on and off like a pair of hoare’s drawers and so I’ve been very happy with its resilience - the Hardy panels that cover the stress points firmly hold the suit together. Also as a dropkneer I’ve been impressed with the knee pads that offer unrivalled grip and confidence as you drive off a big bottom turn.” Matt Mave Davies
